Bolsover 10k

Two members of Grantham Running Club took part in the Bolsover Derbyshire 10k Road race which had been rescheduled from last December due to icy conditions at that time. A bright cold clear day with a slight breeze greeted the 495 runners starting out on the undulating course with a fast, slightly downhill finish 

First to the finish for GRC was Paul Jepson with a time of 50:19, followed by Richard Urquhart who crossed the finishing line in 52:23 seconds.

Race winner was Mathew Quibell of Bassetlaw Tri Club in 32:29.  The ladies winner was Rebecca Miller of Derby AC in 38:08.

Both Paul and Richard reported that it was a well organised race, with plenty of marshals and encouragement and both said they would be back.  All competitors received a nice long sleeved t-shirt as a momento of the race.
