Five members of GRC attended The Caythorpe Dash on Sunday 24th October.
Four took part in the 10k event with Piers Pye-Watson first home for GRC in 38:38 securing 3rd place overall.
Robin Atter (45:13), Stuart Reader (46:57) and Stefan Latter (47:23) all
thought the course was a great challenge with 50% on road and 50% on farm
tracks and hills in the surrounding countryside of Caythorpe and Fulbeck.
In the 5k event GRC’s only runner was Paula Pick Ebbins (along with her furry
sidekick) who ran an amazing PB of 24:21, resulting in 2nd female position, a
trophy and 4th place overall.
All runners agreed this was a fantastic event and extremely well organised and were welcomed back at Caythorpe with tea and cake along with race T shirt and medal.
